Dan not only motivates others to step up to the plate but has led by example and personally made key contributions to snowmobiling on a local, state, national and international level.
Over the past decade as the president of Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts, Dan has worked on numerous projects with club members, delegates and the SAM executive committee. The goal has always been to promote the values of snowmobilers.
Recently he worked with the Massachusetts Audubon, the Greater Worcester Land Trust and Common Ground Land Trust, forming a partnership to permanently protect the snowmobile trails on a 352-acre farm being purchased by the land trusts.
