Trails were groomed on Sunday, but we are experiencing very strong winds on Monday, as well as today.
There is going to be very large drifts in the usual spots, so if you ride, do not go alone.
People have been getting stuck in the drifts, which can be 10–12 feet deep. Our plans are to wait until the wind stops (hopefully tonight, Tuesday, January 22), and get the groomers out to bust open, and groom the drifts out.
The forecast is calling for over a inch of rain on Wednesday/Thursday, so hopefully it won’t wash all of the snow away again! Where there isn’t drifts, the trails are rated good/excellent.
