We have a new section of speed limited quiet zone…
From the Leyden fire pit at intersection BG-12 running west on corridor 2 to The road crossing at Frizzle hill. This is due to kids and pets out in the trail area and noise at night…
RIDE SLOW and with Respect for this land owners request.
Also around the fire pit our trail is also used by other land owners for maple sugaring. They have plowed some sections for tractor access and again trail conditions in this area and other will change daily.
In Gill on the power lines from Pisgah mt road all the way down to the Mobile gas station/ wagon wheel restaurant access is closed due to the power company plowing the trail/ access road to do the power line upgrade until further notice. We are working on an alternative route or getting them to leave a little snow on the trail for us, I will keep you posted.
OTHERWISE our trails are in good shape they need some more riders, NOT RIPPERS and we will have them groomed up for the weekend.
Ride safe and smart, obey the signs and keep the “Rubber Side Down”
Also there has been a major trail change between BG-30 and BG 32 to get the trail off the side of route 142. The landowner VERY specific requests including keeping it a QUIET ZONE.
The other QUIET ZONE is from BG-20 to BG-24 we close to houses, horse pastures and cross over route 91 Please respect all signs and Keep the Rubber Side Down

TRAIL NOTICES… to the sleds that go to the Bernardston Sunoco station.. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIGNS!!!! As you cross the street and go behind the Retirement Home (Large Brown Building) just behind the Sunoco take a hard left at the yellow sign. Do not ignore this and do not drive over them AGAIN Please. The land owners are getting upset. Also once at the station Do not drive over their black hose that rings the bell as the carbides cut it
Also headed East toward Northfield as you cross over route 91, you will go by some horse pens and fencing. KEEP YOUR SPEED DOWN TO A 15MPH Max and obey the signs. Especially as you go up to the top of the hill make sure you stay left and next to the fence all the way to the entrance to West Road. Someone went straight and almost ran over the landowners water line and water meter.
Ride safe, smart and keep the Rubber side down so we all can keep riding!
