Annual Awards: Junior Snowmobiler of the Year

The eligibility requirements for this award include the following:

  • Young snowmobilers, under the age of 18, that have demonstrated a deep commitment to snowmobiling and strive to make the sport even more enjoyable in the future should be nominated.
  • Individuals can make these nominations. Self-nomination is also permitted.
  • All nominations should include the nominee’s full name, address, a description of the nominee and their contributions to snowmobiling, as well as an explanation as to why these contributions are particularly noteworthy.

You are not limited to these eligibility requirements or the space provided for filling out your nominations. Photos and Press clippings may be sent to us as well. (materials cannot be returned)

Hand written nominations can be mailed to The Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts, P.O. Box 443, Greenfield, MA 01302.

All forms must be submitted to the SAM office by March 1.

  • Describe leadership positions your nominee holds or has held in a club or state snowmobile association.
  • Does your nominee participate in club/association fund-raising events?
  • Explain how your nominee is involved in the TOTAL sport of snowmobiling
  • Does your nominee promote club membership as part of his/her activity?
  • Describe any special projects your nominee has been involved with or may be working on.
  • Has your nominee been involved with the community? (examples, Fire Department, Elected Official, Committee’s, other) If so in what capacity and for how many years?
  • Is there anything else about the nominee you would like to share?
  • Your name

    Although not mandatory, photos of the nominee are an important part of the application. Do you have a photo of the nominee at a club function or volunteering? Submit up to three photos.
