Twenty-plus riders attended the first ever Future of SAM teen Family Ride on Sunday, February 17. The morning started with greetings by Sara Trova, followed by a safety program by Massachusetts Environmental Police Lt. Terry Davis and Sgt. David Unaitis.
Colrain Snowmobile Club president Rusty Coombs addressed the group and thanked the teenagers for taking a leadership role in the snowmobile organization.
A tip of the hat to the Colrain Club for grooming the trails to perfection which made the twenty mile ride so enjoyable. Special thanks to Tom and Ann Benz for hosting the event.
