Every club needs inspiration. Sometimes the action of a single member can be the impetuous to make wholesale change. Such is the case with grooming equipment. Making the jump to larger equipment is intimidating, both in cost and trail maintenance. This particular club had limited resources, so a member took it upon himself to build a groomer and drag from whatever he could get his hands on. He used his own funds and proved that the club was ready for the next big step. It proved so successful that they soon began work on a second large machine. The end result is better trail conditions and increased membership, for both his club and SAM. Congratulations are in order for Bob Mason of the Bernardston-Gill-Leyden Snowmobile Club
