The Lunenburg Snow Riders were featured in a Telegram Towns story titled “Lunenburg Snow Riders: On the trail and in the community”

“The Lunenburg Snow Riders is a family-oriented group with a mission of fostering safe and legitimate snowmobiling in the local area. They are members of the Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts and have “strong affiliations with the Lunenburg Conservation Commission, (the state’s) Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife,” according to Mr. Bertram.

The group has worked with the Lunenburg Conservation Commission to repair erosion caused by unauthorized ATV use. “We believe that strong partnerships among responsible trail users benefit everyone by reducing irresponsible activities,” said Mr. Bertram.

“My father once told me, ‘If you borrow or use something, you give it back in better condition than when you received it, and you will never have a problem using it again.’ This is the philosophy our club uses in our community and on land use,” said Mr. Bertram.”
